Hi gang... it looks like my application was summarily accepted!    I am bringing a 50 warden to the 'official' roster and I have my 95 champ listed as my primary toon.

Many times I have pondered a kinship that held itself at lvl 50 ... imagine, LOTRO without the legendary grind!   I'm glad I found you guys.     I hope this kinship can grow legs and really be active.

My warden was practically speed-leveled ... solo ...,  so I am open to any guidance or tools or hints or whatever to becoming one of those 'epic' wardens :-)   With bleeds, single target DPS can be pretty good, but there are almost no AoEs and 'real tanking' is something I haven't paid much attention to.   Looking over the skills and trait trees, it looks like Defiant Challenge can be spammed every 20 or 30 seconds ... and if that's the only aggro-grabbing skill ... that seems pretty easy!    I'll start studying the class more, since he's at 'level cap' now ... lol  :-)

I use and love the plugin/app LoTRO-Interface, on my main PC anyway, so if there's a plugin I "must have", drop me a note.

Anywayz, see you guys and girls in-game... this is gonna be good!

Warden tanking - have a chat with Italy if you're both on at the same time. She's a friend from my Vilya kin where she has a 95 warden. My 95 champ (usually) can't pull aggro off of her, so I think she knows what she's doing.

I haven't tanked on my own warden since the cap was 65, so I'm at least two updates out of date on what works... I've barely even poked around with red line since HD (he's only at 86 now, not a character I spend much time on).

"Must have" plugins - buffbars is the only one that comes to mind, for the pot popup quickbar. Should help a bit with Udunion; can't remember any other pot-critical mechanics at level 50 though. And I think Udunion allows you a lot more time to clear it than Saruman does, so one could probably get by fine without buffbars. And how much will we care about Barad Gularan anyway?

My personal list of "must-have" plugins:

Palantir II:  Puts your vitals up in a nice location around the center of your UI without having to actually move your character panel down there and block your view.  Has notifications for removable effects, with optional potion-clicky or auto-potion support.  Also has a nice flashy warning if a mob says your name in chat, so you know something nasty is about to happen to you, and you can act accordingly.

Buffbars:  Really handy for situational awareness with debuff timers.

Travel Window:  Keeps all your travel skills in a handy-dandy little box you can stick anywhere.

Others that I consider "essential", but not necessarily "must-have":

Combat Analysis:  DPS/HPS meters, and much more.

Daily Tasks:  Handy tracking of task items, where they can be turned in, if any of your alts can use them, etc.  I personally prefer this one because it is mostly command-line driven.  There is another, Busy Bee Tasks, that is more GUI-based.

Legendary Item Planner:  Really handy for figuring out how to best utilize all your points on a legendary item.  Can save you some Scrolls of Empowerment if you get things tweaked just the way you want.

Combat Analysis:  TPS for tanks!

LIP: Unfortunately this has not been updated since the xpac for the changes in legacies

Others I recommend but not must have:

LOTRO Plugin Compendium - not a plugin but a program that runs out of game and makes it simple to add, remove, and update plugins

Potion Helper - if you are bad at getting your pots, this is the plugin for you.  I used it all the time in Saruman

LOTRO Alerts - nice plugin that scans all the text channels (chat, combat, etc) and can flash a message of your choosing up on your screen.

EDIT:  I forgot to mention one of my favorite plugins, Cash.  It tells you what your change in money/gold is while you are logged in.
